Indices: Stock market update: Nifty IT index 0.38%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty IT index closed on a note on Monday.

Shares of Wipro Ltd.(up 6.5 per cent), Persistent Systems Ltd.(up 2.18 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 0.41 per cent) and Coforge Ltd.(up 0.24 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
